FAQ
Does the receiver need Clipboard Drop?
No. Any nearby Apple device that can receive AirDrop can open the text or URL file; the receiver does not need to install Clipboard Drop.
Why not just use Universal Clipboard?
Universal Clipboard requires both devices to use the same Apple ID with iCloud and Handoff. Clipboard Drop sends an AirDrop file to a nearby device, including someone else's.
Does Clipboard Drop upload or save my clipboard?
No. Clipboard content is used locally to prepare the item you choose to send. Recent text is kept only in memory while the app runs and is cleared when it quits.
What can I send?
